Important: Danke fills up exceptionally quickly on July 24 and especially July 25. Reservations are essential — please contact us at least one week in advance for festival-night seating.
Getting There During the Festival
Heavy traffic restrictions are imposed in central Osaka on both festival days, with major roads closed to vehicles from afternoon to late evening. Public transport is by far the easiest option:
- JR Osaka-Tenmangu Station (JR Tozai Line) — 2-minute walk to the shrine, 5-minute walk to Danke.
